ARBITRON EARNS MRC ACCREDITATION IN 11 MORE PPM MARKETS INCLUDING PHOENIX
Today it was announced that Arbitron’s monthly average-quarter-hour radio ratings data that is created by their Portable People Meter (PPM) service has been accredited by the Media Rating Council (MRC) in 11 additional markets. Among those markets is Phoenix; Atlanta; Cincinnati; Cleveland; Kansas City; Milwaukee-Racine; Philadelphia; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City-Ogden-Provo; St. Louis and Tampa-St.Petersburg-Clearwater. Those markets join three others as accredited for Arbitron’s PPM ratings service.
Each year Arbitron is audited in each of their 48 PPM markets; 34 PPM markets this time were declined.
