Bill Austin Memorial Show To Air Thursday, June 2

Bill Austin, long-time co-host of the popular Beth and Bill Morning Show on 99.9 KEZ will be remembered this week on the one-year anniversary of his passing.
Bill’s radio partner and friend Beth McDonald adds, “We will be dedicating our entire blog to Bill this week, with photo galleries, audio posts, pictures and a custom guest book for listeners to leave messages and kind words about Bill.
A special tribute show to Bill will feature the most memorable moments from his more than two decades with Beth plus the announcement of the Bill Austin Memorial Scholarship at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Telecommunication. Also on the show will be Dr. Franc W. Brodar, M.D., an associate at Hospice of the Valley who will receive a special gift from Bill’s estate.
Beth commented, “Bill and I were together for 20 years, so he will always be a part of me. His spirit will continue to live here at KEZ through his endless generosity. His philosophy was simple: “Be good.” And now through the website spiritandword.org – Bill will continue to “do good.”
